Twelve opens new outlet in Bashundhara City

The country’s leading clothing brand, Twelve, on Monday launched its flagship outlet in Bashundhara City, one of Dhaka’s premier shopping destinations in the central business district of Panthapath.

This opening marks the brand’s 43rd store.

The brand marked the occasion with the grand inauguration of its new, larger-scale outlet at Bashundhara City in Panthapath, Dhaka, on March 10.

The opening ceremony was attended by prominent local figures and senior executives of the company.

Located on Level 5 of Bashundhara City, the new outlet quickly drew a large crowd of enthusiastic shoppers eager to explore the latest Eid collections.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Team Group Managing Director Abdullah Hill Rakib, Economic Reporters Forum President Doulot Akter Mala, Team Group Deputy Managing Director Abdullah Hill Nakib, Twelve Director and COO Md Matiur Rahman and other senior officials.

Speaking at the event, Abdullah Hill Rakib said that Twelve has curated its collection with great care for this Eid, focusing on fashionable, trendy, and modern clothing that caters to both Ethnic and Western fashion trends.

‘Twelve Clothing designs apparel for people of all classes and ages. We are committed to providing quality products at affordable prices, always keeping in mind the purchasing power and comfort of the buyer,’ he said.

Doulot Akter Mala said that Bangladesh is about to graduate from the LDC status, which could present various financial challenges.

‘To prepare for this, we will need to take several fiscal measures by identifying these challenges,’ she said.

Mala said that many countries implement tax and duty benefits as fiscal measures to support their local industries.

She suggested that Bangladesh government should adopt similar policies to sustain domestic industries as import substitutes in the post-LDC era.

Prayers and blessings were offered for the success of the new outlet.

To celebrate the launch, Twelve is offering a range of promotional activities, including free tickets to Toggi World with qualifying purchases, gift vouchers and special hampers.

These initiatives reflect the brand’s commitment to enhancing the shopping experience for its valued customers during the festive season.
