The ‘South Asia Trade Fair – 2025’ will be inaugurated on September 18, at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka, with participation from countries across the SAARC region.
The inauguration will be led by commerce adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin, said a statement issued by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
The fair will showcase a wide range of products, including readymade garments and textiles, gems and jewellery, cosmetics, leather goods, home appliances and kitchenware, processed foods, and electronics.
The event is jointly organised by the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and FBCCI. Business leaders, including directors from the SAARC Secretariat, are expected to attend.
Over a hundred companies from South Asian countries will participate, presenting their products and services.
In addition to product exhibitions, attendees will have the opportunity to join business networking events, B2B sessions, and various topic-specific discussions.
The fair will run until September 21 2025 and will be open to visitors daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
