The retail prices of petroleum fuels in Bangladesh would remain unchanged for April 2025, according to an announcement by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
As per the existing price structure, the prices would be as followed: diesel and kerosene at Tk 105 per litre, octane at Tk 126 per litre, and petrol at Tk 122 per litre.
These rates will be effective from April 1, 2025.
In an official order, the Energy and Mineral Resources Division stated that the decision was taken to ensure fuel remains available at a comparatively affordable price.
The pricing follows an automatic adjustment mechanism that reflects fluctuations in global fuel markets on a monthly basis.
