CIS-BCCI holds 11th AGM 2024

The Commonwealth of Independent States-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CIS-BCCI) convened its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 5 at the Dhaka Club Ltd.

During the meeting, Mohammad Ali Deen, President of CIS-BCCI, presented the Chamber’s Annual Report for 2024, outlining the activities of the past year and detailing future plans aimed at strengthening trade ties.

Following this, Jadab Debnath, Vice President of the Chamber, delivered the Financial Report for 2024.

Members of the Chamber, including the Board of Directors and Honorary Advisers, actively engaged in discussions regarding the Annual and Audited Financial Reports. After thorough deliberation, both reports were unanimously approved by the attendees.

The AGM concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vice President Jadab Debnath, expressing gratitude to all participants for their contributions.

CIS-BCCI, a registered trade body operating under the Trade Organisation Rules of the Ministry of Commerce, works to promote and enhance bilateral trade relations between Bangladesh and the Commonwealth of Independent States, including Russia.

The Chamber regularly collaborates with government agencies and diplomatic missions to explore opportunities within CIS markets, positioning these countries as the third major export destination for Bangladesh after the USA and the EU.
