he 17th International Plastic Fair-2025 is going to start from February 12 at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital Dhaka.

Bangladesh Plastics Manufacturers and Exporters Association president Samim Ahmed shared details of the event during a press conference held at the association’s office in the city on Monday.

The four-day fair, jointly organised by the BPGMEA and Hong Kong-based Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Company, will continue until February 15.

Commerce adviser Sk Bashir Uddin will inaugurate the fair on Wednesday at 11:00am. Commerce secretary (routine responsibilities) and project director, EC4J Md Abdur Rahim Khan, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries administrator Md Hafizur Rahman and SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Md Jasim Uddin, among others, will be present as special guests.

The 17th edition of IPF will have some 800 stalls, where about 390 brands from 18 countries will participate. Companies from China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, the United Kingdom and other countries will showcase their products and technologies.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 11:00am to 7:00pm every day.
