16th Bangladesh Denim Expo set for May 6

The 16th edition of the Bangladesh Denim Expo is set to take place on May 6 and 7 at the International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka.

Themed “Reimagine,” this edition underscores the expo’s dedication to reshaping the denim landscape through innovation and digital integration.

Organizers aim to revolutionize denim production, design, and consumption by leveraging technology and forward-thinking approaches.

Mostafiz Uddin, founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange, explained, “We have chosen ‘Reimagine’ to redefine the essence of denim, breaking free from convention to create a visionary and transformative denim experience.”

With over 60 exhibitors from 11 countries including Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Vietnam, and Japan, the event will showcase fabric mills (denim and non-denim), garment manufacturers, washing laundries, accessories, trims, chemicals, machinery/technology, and logistics.

The two-day event features an inaugural program, panel discussions, a trend seminar, and a trend zone.

Renowned speakers will share insights on various topics centered around the theme “Reimagine.”

The trend zone will highlight innovative and upcoming trends in denim products, providing visitors with valuable insights into future denim trends.
